Indiana Digital Library reaches a significant year
Indianapolis, Indiana – With 6.6 million digital books checked out last year, Indiana Digital Library achieved a significant milestone. It is among the 152 public library systems worldwide that have had more than one million checkouts.
Even though reading books is becoming more and more popular, a lot of individuals in Indiana are still unaware that digital books are available.
According to Indiana State Librarian Jake Speer, individuals can get digital books through public libraries throughout the state, or they can quickly Google the location of their local library to see if it is participating.
“24/7, 365 days a year, you’re able to access these great materials,” Speer said Thursday on Daybreak.
