March Madness infects Indianapolis early
Indianapolis, Indiana – This week in Indianapolis, automatic berths to the NCAA men’s and women’s basketball tournaments are at stake.
At the Farmers Coliseum on the Indiana State Fairgrounds, the 2023 Horizon League Championship for men and women will be decided today and Tuesday.
At noon on Monday, the No. 1 seed Green Bay women take on the No. 6 seed Purdue Fort Wayne. At 2:30 p.m., No. 2 seed Cleveland State will play No. 5 seed Northern Kentucky.
On the men’s side, the first-seeded Youngstown State will play fourth-seeded Northern Kentucky at 7:30 p.m., while the second-seeded Milwaukee will play the third-seeded Cleveland State at 9:30 p.m.
Tuesday’s men’s and women’s championship games will be played at 7 p.m. and noon, respectively.
Tickets can be purchased at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum Box Office at 1202 E. 38th St. in Indianapolis, through Ticketmaster, or online at HorizonLeague.com/indy.
Sports events can be viewed on ESPN networks as well.
