Near Lebanon, there will be traffic restrictions on US 52

Boone County, Indiana – In Boone County, close to Lebanon, U.S. 52 will soon have long-term traffic limits.
A southbound left lane of U.S. 52 will be blocked off near the road’s intersection with County Road 300 North, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation. The lane restriction will make it possible for INDOT to put in a left turn lane on US 52 going south at the intersection.
According to INDOT, the project is expected to start on September 18 and end in December. If poor weather prevents crews from finishing work as planned, the construction schedule may need to be adjusted.
While construction is taking place at the intersection, INDOT is urging vehicles to exercise caution and slow down in order to protect the safety of the road workers.
