The Greenwood-purchased $50,000 Powerball ticket expires on Monday
Indianapolis, Indiana – The Hoosier Lottery said on Saturday that a winning Powerball ticket bought in Greenwood in May would expire on Monday.
The $50,000 ticket was bought at Superior Discount Beverage in Greenwood, which is situated in the 1000 block of U.S. Highway 31 South, before to the May 6 drawing.
It matched the Powerball and four of five numbers, according to a press release.
The winning ticket must be claimed before 4:30 p.m. on Monday, according to the Hoosier Lottery. To claim their prize, the ticket holder needs to go to the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office located at 1302 N. Meridian St. in Indianapolis.
Additionally, Hoosier Lottery advised ticket holders to store their tickets in a safe location and think about seeing a financial expert before to cash claims.
