The season for the 2024 Polar Plunge begins this weekend
Indianapolis, Indiana – As the yearly arctic plunge season begins, it’s time to make a splash and change the lives of hundreds of Special Olympic competitors throughout the state.
The iconic Special Olympics Indiana fundraiser, which takes place from February 2 to March 2, is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Raising $1 million to make this anniversary celebration unforgettable is the aim.
To participate in this year’s Polar Plunge, follow these three steps:
1. Commit! Register online and choose a location close to you.
2. Fundraise! Participants need to raise a minimum of $99 for Special Olympics Indiana to be a part of the plunge. There are also fundraising prizes including exclusive t-shirts, towels, bags, robes, and more.
3. Take the Plunge! Don’t forget to bring a signed liability waiver on the day of the plunge as well as the pledge form and all offline donations!
This year’s polar plunges will take place in 19 different places around the state, including Indianapolis, Bloomington, Terre Haute, South Bend, West Lafayette, and more.
