On Indianapolis’ south side, a police pursuit culminates in a crash
Indianapolis, Indiana – Following a chase that culminated in a collision on the south side of Indianapolis on Friday morning, police detained a suspect.
Around 9:40 a.m., the chase came to a halt close to U.S. 31 and Banta Road. The Beech Grove Police Department acknowledged that officers were engaged in a pursuit but gave no further details.
At the crossroads, the fleeing car wrecked and just missed her car.
The suspect was taken into custody by police after they forced him out of the vehicle. After the collision, an ambulance came at the scene; the suspect was sitting up and seemed conscious.
Another driver was seen resting outside of his vehicle while an officer checked on him in pictures and recordings. He informed authorities he didn’t think he had any broken bones.
The accident is still being looked into.
