In two weeks, the Indiana dashboard has added 105 COVID deaths and 12,607 additional cases of the coronavirus
Indianapolis, Indiana – New COVID-19 data has been made available on the state’s coronavirus dashboard by the Indiana Department of Health.
The information was gathered up until Tuesday, January 2. Every Wednesday, the state dashboard is updated.
Indiana’s COVID-19 death toll increased from 25,873 on December 19 to 25,978 on Tuesday. That is a 105-percent rise.
From 1,368 on December 19 to 1,392 on Tuesday, there were more likely deaths. That is a 24 percent rise.
In Indiana, the overall number of COVID-19-positive cases increased from 2,159,752 on December 19 to 2,172,359 on Tuesday. That represents a 12,607 rise.
On Tuesday, the state reported a seven-day average of 676 ER visits and 172 hospital admissions. This is an increase from the statistics of 618 ER visits and 120 hospital admissions from December 19.
As of Tuesday, 3,866,364 Hoosiers had finished the first round of vaccinations, according to IDOH. 54.6% of the overall population is represented by that.
According to the state website, 988,484 Hoosiers were up to date on their vaccines as of Tuesday.
