Indy 500 brings back “normal spirit”, financial boost to local economy
Indianapolis, Indiana – Even with lower capacity, Indy 500 weekend brings financial boost to local economy and “normal spirit” for local residents and businesses.
Local business owners are more than happy seeing people coming back in the restaurants and stores for the Indy 500 this weekend. After being closed for more than 3 months, the weekend is such a boost for the restaurants, financial and emotional.
Hosting the event in-person brought near-normal crowds this year.
The happiness, the excitement, it makes people happy and enjoy live. It’s good to see the spirit down the streets, locals say.
A lot of people were seen and a lot of activity. This might be the best year recently on terms of crowd and atmosphere in the whole city.
Locals are happy to see the fans back in the town. Everyone hopes to get back to normal as soon as possible.
