Bloomington Police Looking For Person Who Fired Shots At Man In Car
(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Police officers are looking for the person or persons that fired shots at a man’s vehicle outside of the Village at Muller Park apartments Sunday night.
According to police, a 21-year-old man was shot at while in his vehicle at the apartment complex in the 500 block of South Muller Parkway.
The man’s car was damaged, but the male was not injured in the shooting.
When police arrived around 7:10 p.m. the man told police he was in his car when another driver in the parking lot fired shots at his vehicle. The other driver then fled the scene.
Police found bullet holes in the passenger side of the car and found several .40-caliber casings at the scene.
The reason for the shooting is unknown, and the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department.
