Indiana man charged with beating two children in his home

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – An Indiana man is accused of beating two children in his home.
Police arrested Christopher Jourden, 33, Wednesday on federal charges including battery, according to a news release.
The Scott County Sheriff’s Office said it started investigating Jourden after someone with the Department of Child Services called in a complaint about him.
The two children in Jourden’s Lexington, Indiana, home were put in protective custody.
